For our client in Veldhoven, we are looking for a fulltime assembly technician for the day shift.
The client
Our client produces, manages and distributes customer-specific packaging solutions for high-value and fragile industrial products, among others.
Your duties will include:
- Checking and repairing various types of damage to packaging and high-tech parts;
- Replacing high-tech parts;
- Handling administrative tasks;
- Proposing solutions for mechanical functionality and cosmetic appearance;
- Being responsible for repairing more complex technical damage to returned packaging and high-tech parts. You will use repair instructions and checklists to ensure the most efficient use of materials;
- Performing related administrative work. Naturally, you will observe company regulations and protocols regarding safety, the environment and cleanliness.
These are your working hours:
You will work in a small team of 7 technically skilled colleagues.
All of you work in a daytime shift: from 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
This will most likely change to a 2-shift system within 3 months: one week from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, and the other week from Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
Job requirements:
- An MBO diploma, preferably in a technical field, e.g., mechatronics;
- At least 1 year of work experience in a similar position, e.g., mechanic/operator/assembly technician;
- A good command of the English language, both spoken and written;
- Preferably a valid EPT, Stacker, and Forklift certificate;
